It all happened when they traded for Curtis Granderson from the Mets
Usually works the other way when Mets acquire players who
become total bust when get here.......
But, it works exactly fine when the Tigers make a trade of a “farm-bred” player (Granderson, Bergman, Gibson, HoJo to name but a few).
They go on to contribute to a WS winner while our Tigers toss about ashes in their sack-cloth clothes.
