If we would ever send the million or so illegals squatting in SoCal back to their own countries then housing would once again become affordable for Americans moving in from outside the state. And for first time buyer Californians... young adults who want to own are all leaving the state.

I'm heading back to Mississippi next year!

Two years in my native state and home town have done me in. Too damn expensive. My little seaside town of Ocean Beach is even too costly now and I refuse to go broke paying high rent that I know should be 1/3 the price.

After a little over 400 days on the market, my house in Mississippi finally sold at my price but when it came time for me to sign the papers, I choked. I just couldn't part with it ... LOL. GOOD thing too, because my daughter who's lived in the Cayman's for nearly 30 years decided to move into my house in Mississippi too, so she sold her house in less than a day by merely mentioning her plans to a neighbor who then told another and 4 got into a bidding war ... LOL. She's making a killing. GOOD for her!
