“The Oakland A’s pride ourselves on being inclusive. We respect and support all of our players’ constitutional rights and freedom of expression.”

So, it’s OK for him to flip the bird at the referee.

Freedom of expression, baby!

“Yeah f**k this guy! Our president speaks of inequality of man because players are protesting the anthem! F**k this man! Seriously on the highest platform for our country expressing that it is OK for there to be Division of man and rights!”

At least he is honest, he is protesting the anthem and not the cops.

OPPS!!!

Oh, look another privileged brat acting rebellious pretending to be down for the struggle, isn’t that cute? And lo and behold, it’s another team from the SF Bay Area.

The A’s aren’t worried about their attendance because they average around 10,000 a game. Won’t be a huge hit to see 5,000 at their games......hahahahahaha

We need to have special leagues that don’t have blacks.

too many arrests too much drama it doesn’t work.

Blacks have special needs and they need to be off on their own.

Frankly I'm surprised some baseball player didn't do this earlier, right after Kaep' started it all. Never agreed with the tactic but just saying.

The owners are to blame.

They know that there are many kids who see these guys as heroes.

They should insist that their players act appropriately.

However all that matters is winning Players can get arrested, beat their wives and girlfriends, steal and get DWI’s so long as they WIN.

It starts at the college level where they are wet nursed so long as they win

Wish you had posted more of the article here as many at FR don’t go to link

Some interesting comments:

Before the game player tweeted:

“Yeah f**k this guy! Our president speaks of inequality of man because players are protesting the anthem! F**k this man! Seriously on the highest platform for our country expressing that it is OK for there to be Division of man and rights!”

Sets a Great Example/sarc!

One of his other tweets had 3 Black Power Fists emoticons...

Utter hypocrisy:

n 2015, Maxwell, the son of a U.S. Army veteran, told the Midland Reporter-Telegramthat he was excited to play a game on the Fourth of July as he was born on a U.S. Military installation in Wiesbaden, Germany, while his father, Bruce Jr., did a tour of duty overseas with the U.S. Army.

“It means a little bit more to me,” Maxwell said at the time. “I take it a little more personal. It’s closer to my heart than most holidays and so it’s just about a respect of guys that give their lives every day and their families that feel the repercussions of what they do over there, even in the States. It’s a big thing for me and it’s an honor to play on this day.”

Hopefully not, but most of the world kowtows to the “R” word.

Time to gird loins and tell the perpetually aggrieved to FO and go watch football.

People walking out of stadiums at the very sight of this garbage will send the right message.

But you got to be able throw good money away for an ideal, like patriotism.

We will see how dedicated and committed Americans are.

I think professional sports is a joke and do not give them a dime.

Maybe if he focused on playing baseball instead of social causes, the A’s might bring in more fans.
