One thing, pictures of people taking a knee over this is really making people angry, need to plaster them all over the internet with captions that this is going to get President Trump re-elected. That should give them a little pause...
This is the kind of thing that will get Trump re-elected in my opinion. Average people are completely fed up with this crud and there are still a lot of average people in this country. Liberals seem to somehow think it will draw support to them? I don’t see that happening.
My husband is fit to be tied about this! He quit watching last year, fed up with the criminals and the knee thing starting. I have to say the younger veterans and those serving now in our family are taking it in stride, they are not showing the anger my husband is but they are not watching football. They just turned it off and walked away like, well I am done with that.
I would imagine as much as the younger veterans and current military have been deployed, in areas where they could not just relax and watch football games regularly- it is easier for them to just let it go. They have done without it before...
Gotta give the Cowboys SOME credit, they did not kneel during the Anthem. They did not salute it as they were supposed to either. So the hell with them!!!
Agreed. We also need to spread the videos popping up of regular guys burning their football paraphernalia. Its really hard to give up football, especially if your a lifelong fan. It helps to know other, regular Americans are doing it too. It will make me happy to see pictures of half empty stadium and reports of booing. This is getting juicy. Who will blink first.
And if something like this would have started against Obama it would have been nipped in the bud so fast it would have been scary.
They are now trying to make this all about Trump, Trump’s fault. So much BS...they were doing it before he mentioned it- that is why he mentioned it!
This is the kind of crap the media wants to keep in our faces to distract from the REAL problems we have in this country. They want to shove immoral behavior down our throats, they despise the Constitution, they mock God, they indoctrinate school children, they despise our military, they blame everything on "rich white conservatives" they hate our flag, they believe the rich should pay more in taxes, they believe that every white person is racist, they think it's OK for North Korea and Iran to have nuclear weapons, they worship the whole climate change/global warming hoax, and above all they think they are smarter than everybody else.
To that I say, GFY! Get out of my country and don't come back if it's so bad for you!

So if they all kneel in solidarity with the losers who kneel during the anthem they are OK? F ‘em all.

Been thinking of what impact people can have to express their concern with all this.
The NFL and the United Way have always partnered. One was to have them feel blow back is for everyone to stop all contributions to the United way. (I never gave anyway to them because they are too top heavy.)
Give to you Church, local Boys and Girls Clubs, Samaritans Purse, American Red Cross or any number of ways that get resources to those in need more efficiently.
Go to HR and tell then because the United Way partners with the NFL you want to cease your contributions. Money talks.

The liberals still have no clue why so many voted for Trump.
Early in the primaries one of my daughters asked me who was going to seriously vote for Trump (funny because she did) but she was listening to the media say he did not have a chance over and over. I told her watch real close because you will see how many pi$$ed off people are out there. If there is enough, he will be our next President. I told her people were just fed up and the media was lying. She caught on pretty quick. The thing is all the liberals have done is pi$$ off more people with all their crybaby shenanigans since he was elected. They cannot grasp the issues they have in connecting with we the people.

She was PISSED when Trump won and I danced on her grave. She didn't pay me my 100 dollars. She had been talking boocoo smack before the election on how she was gonna spend my money too. Friggin' HILLARYOUS. I didn't even want her dirty Hillary money. It was payoff enough to see her rage.

Actually, he never said that.
To be fair to the Cowboys, the fact is they knelt united BEFORE the flag was even displayed, and before the first note of the anthem was played.
What I would have preferred was that the players then put their right hands on their hearts, their helmets under the left arms and respected the flag as they are supposed to under the league rule book.
All Cowboys then stood, however, in respect to the flag, in various states of respect. None knelt during the anthem.
Fox had a good segment on Bill Hemmer’s show about what the book says and what the players are doing, and the hypocrisy of it all this AM.
What was interesting is that the gesture did not stop the booing, which was LOUD.
Jerry Jones is smarter than this.
Oh, and some inside information:
Microsoft writes clauses into their ad contracts that the producers have to maintain minimum ratings before they can air the commercial. Failure to do so means not just losing the ad, but a refund of the original cost of the add with a penalty.
The NFL Monday Night Game, for the first time in history, could not make that mark and could not air the MSFT ads.
If you are wondering whether this is having an impact on owners and the league, it is.
What I cannot, for the life of me, understand is why the league is doubling down.
I thought the same thing. The media is nothing but lies.
