Morgan Freeman loses his marbles. "We have been attacked. We are at war," Freeman says in the beginning of his speech. The actor describes Putin's biography and accuses him of attempts to undermine democracies around the world, including the US. In his speech, Morgan Freeman does not urge anyone to protect the borders of the USA. Instead, he talks about the need to destroy an aggressor, the aggression of which is clearly manifested, but we do not understand how. Afterwards, Freeman calls on his president to publicly acknowledge the fact of Russia's interference in the US presidential election.

It is worthy of note that the Kremlin does not take Mr. Freeman's speech seriously. Putin's official spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the US actor has fallen a "victim to emotional stress." Freeman, Peskov said, does not have any information about the real state of affairs.
"They are victims of emotional exaltation, this is a continuation of McCarthyism, I would say. This will pass over time," he added.
Putin's spokesman also said that "one can hardly take Morgan Freeman's speech seriously," since it is emotional and not based on "real information."

What confuses me more is I am 99% sure I read or heard Freeman state Trump “was not his president”. But now that he wants to instigate problems with Putin/Russia, Trump is suddenly “our president”.
And the Hollywood lunacy continues. Guess he didn’t have a problem with Obama interfering in Israel’s election. Governments have been interfering in other countries elections throughout modern history but it only becomes an issue when a Democrat loses.

I also think Freeman is trying to revive the “Russia MUST be considered our worst enemy by every American” that Hillary was touting on the election trail. Trump isn’t pushing that because why poke a barking (or sleeping) dog through a fence? Makes no sense.

I think Morgan Freeman has been watching too many of his own movies.
This is all the fault of “the media”.
They could easily put this to bed, but not only do they not do that, they would rather intentionally feed the delusion and foment the angst and resentment of a very large segment of the populace.
Everyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows that there would be huge 60 minute exposes zeroing in their laser focus on which voting machines were found to be altered or which BOEs were hacked.
But since no real vote-changing actually occurred, and since they are in the bed with the political party that lost, they would rather distort the fact that all sorts of interests (both foreign and domestic) exerted media efforts to influence the election, in various ways by picked on bogey man out of them all to focus on. This is an intentional distortion from “influence” to “interferrence”, which in an election is a HUGE difference. The former is done by nearly everyone. The later is rare and would be well published and excruciatingly examined by now if it really happened.
So now we got people like Morgan Freeman telling us that war has been started by he can’t even tell us how the first shot was even fired.
Obama gave the Russians nuclear secrets but that was apparently okay. Maybe the Russians welched on a promise to get Hillary elected.

Morgan Freeman is simply maintaining the myth that the election was stolen; this will continue in perpetuity to re-write history. How else can people 100 years from now explain the Greatest President Ever was followed by the Worst Human Being Ever, who had beaten the Greatest Woman Ever to win the White House?
Make no mistake, this isn’t just about whitewashing Hillary’s evil - this is about whitewashing Obama’s horrible presidency. If it was half as good as the enemedia maintained, Hillary would have trounced Trump.
Hey Morgan, how about when Obama directly interfered in Israel's elections as he sought to overthrow Bibi Netanyahu? Gonna call for an investigation into that?
How about Obama's interference in the Brexit vote, where Obama gave speeches IN THE UNITED KINGDOM imploring the British people to remain in the EU? Gonna call for an investigation into that?

One of the greatest victories of Socialism has been the imbedding of the false idea that our nation is a democracy.
People tend to confuse these actors with the characters they play.
No, he is not God. In fact, many fine actors who are, in real life, as dumb as a box of rocks are very good in roles where they are incredibly wise sages and leaders.
And then they open their mouths with unscripted words and demonstrate who they really are.
