Remember that San Antonio has Fort Sam Houston. Joint Base San Antonio – Ft. Sam Houston is the Home of Military Medicine with San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), the Defense Department’s largest inpatient hospital and the military’s only Level 1 Trauma Center.
There is also Lackland Air Force Base. The 37th Training Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, is the largest training wing in the United States Air Force. The wing operates nine schools throughout the country with most of the training of 90,000 students being held in San Antonio.
Don’t forget Randolph Air Force Base. Randolph is home to the 12th Flying Training Wing, the only unit in the Air Force conducting both pilot instructor training and combat systems officer training. In addition, the 12th FTW provides host-base support to more than 30 Department of Defense units, including HQ Air Education and Training Command, Air Force Personnel Center and Air Force Recruiting Service. The wing’s headquarters has been called the Taj Mahal due to its distinctive architecture and is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places.
I understand where you are going with this, but as someone who lived there for 24 years then escaped to the sub burbs of Houston Texas, I can tell you San Antonio is as Liberal as Austin.
The Military folks are WAY outnumbered, and unfortunately based on my personal experiences, there is a percentage that probably agree with this fool.
I was under the impression that San Antonio was an extremely leftist city run by La Raza.
