I now know that my 10 year old son would spend some time in jail if he lived there with his “Large” (not quite huge) arsenal of weapons. He has a .410 shotgun, 2 BB guns and a compound bow.
But only his father has the deadly ammunition.

Every time I hear news out of Britain, I just shake my head.
I work for a large international company. We regularly have colleagues here from abroad. On occasion, we will meet at someone’s farm to take them shooting. It’s something they do not get to do in their country. Most of them really enjoy it.
Several of us will bring a few different fire arms and our own ammunition. So if there are 3 to 6 people, there can be 8 to 10 different types and kinds of guns. On more than one occasion, our foreign colleagues asked where did we get all these guns. They are normally surprised that we all have several fire arms. One guy brought a muzzle loader and made a joke about the weapon they should be most familiar with. They didn’t get it but the Americans thought it hilarious (I am pretty sure he brought it for the sole purpose of being able to make that joke).
Poor snowflakes better not come around here. That is a small collection by local standards and here folks don’t count air rifles.

As far as I can tell none of them were actual firearms.
They were all air pistols/rifles.
I can only wish, since I don’t have any British or Japanese friends, but, if I did, it would be a blast to have them here just to get to show them my toys.
