Occasionally, you run into people who are intelligent enough to walk and talk and that’s about it. They don’t learn from example, observation or personal experience. There is something so divergent about their world view that it is difficult for them to get along with the world around them. Most of the time, whatever is different about the way they see the world is never seen by the rest of us and we get along, in our brief encounters with them, just fine. I knew someone who thought certain numbers held magical powers. As long as you stayed away from certain topics that triggered his spitting numerical mania you could interact with him like any normal person. I suspect, however, he’d have been difficult to employ.
One problem for Kaepernick is that he is constantly exposed to us and whatever his deviation from what the rest of us see as reality is on constant display. Unlike the numerologist, there is no opportunity for him to avoid the topic and just do a job. Like the numerologist, his craziness makes him unemployable. He is too harmful to have representing your brand and that is why he hasn’t been hired. I am certain the team owners would like for this flag/knee controversy to please just go away. Like two-year-olds who have discovered shouting curse words gets them adult attention, it won’t without severe punishment. A two year old you can slap on the bottom and say “no.” I don’t know what you can do with a multimillionaire 210 pound 28 year old two-year-old.
Adoption messes some people up so much there’s no reasoning with them. Seen it in our family. It doesn’t matter how well they’ve been brought up by their adoptive family, they’re permanently ruined. Yes, I’m going to say it, they’re a lost cause.
We’ve seen the same with Obama. Dumped by his black father who was barely anything but a one night stand sperm donor. Then passed off by his mama to white grandparents to raise. He hatefully called grandma Dunham a typical white woman. He spat on them and the entire white race and that hate dictated his every adult goal of destroying America.
CK’s bio mother has spoken out against his behavior but we’ve not heard a peep out of his adoptive family. With all this hate and lashing out, he’s pooping on his adoptive parents. All that they’ve given him, he despises. I’m betting he doesn’t so much as send them a tweet on Thanksgiving. No, this isn’t an excuse for his behavior. He had a choice to embrace his family for what they sacrificed for him and become a caring upstanding citizen and pay it forward but he chose hatred instead.
