Likely this lady married the Danley guy, dumped him and then hooked up with Pollock. Unlike the cases where an Arab yelling Akbar goes after people with a knife, this one does not have an obvious motive. I’m sure they’ll find it and the lady will likely be key in the investigation.

Keep in mind, these casinos can remotely lock a room door so the occupants cannot get out. Localizing a noise on a floor takes but seconds; there was recently a show that demonstrated just how wired a casino hotel really is.

the band all had headsets on. They probably didn't know until the bullets started ricocheting off the stage lights and speakers and their manager was screaming in their ear to get off the freaking stage

It didn’t include any belt-feds that we know of (because those are extremely hard to get on the civilian market and very well documented when they change hands, there being a fixed number of them). However, there have been a number of thefts of belt-fed machine guns from the military over the past decade.

If you watch the video, the AV gear starts taking hits and one of the display screens starts fritzing out with dead panels before the band mikes get cut. It sounds like either the band security bundled them off the stage and/or the AV system took enough damage that the singer couldn’t tell everyone to get down any more.
