Apparently was married to an Australian and lived on the Gold Coast. Filipino girls like to marry older, comfortably off older men. She moved to the US some years ago, married again, then met the perpetrator. She was a hostess at a casino and a gambler herself.
I’ll be very surprised if this shooter was using full auto.

I agree. The rate of fire was slow, like an auto gloved weapon.
A full auto weapon does not work well with the recoil spring or gas feed dialed way back.
A full auto weapon such as an M-60 would not have such a defined series of reports, they would run together more.
The auto glove theory of bump fire mechanism makes the most sense from what I heard on the video feeds.
Do I think he is a Muslim convert jihadhi? If he is not, he sure acted like one.

Now I know that’s not strong evidence, but we are fighting the war on terror in the Philipines. All nations that were forced into Catholicism have a love-hate relationship with Christianity. So to flat-out conclude that she is Catholic is a mistake. It is worth keeping an open mind and to encourage more research.

There is too much about this story so far that just doesn’t make sense.
Not buying that he was once a successful gambler. The only long-term successful gamblers are the casinos themselves and maybe a few Monte Carlo shysters.
Given the shooters wealth and his being a small time accountant, I am leaning toward his being in the money laundering business for the drug trade which is ancillary to the casinos.
