"You really got hit – no question about it," Pres Trump says of Hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico at start of briefing on recovery efforts.

Pres also praises Puerto Rican Gov Ricardo Rosselló. "Not even from my party. This Governor did not play politics," says @POTUS.

"I hate to tell you Puerto Rico, but you’ve thrown our budget out of whack," kids Pres Trump. "But we've saved a lot of lives."

Told by Gov @ricardorossello that the hurricane death toll on Puerto Rico is 16, "you can be very proud," says Pres Trump.
