“Puerto Rico is well on its way to becoming a second Haiti.”

I just finished listening to a history of Haiti (at Revolutions Podcast).

Haiti is a sequence of brutal dictators. Started with full bore slave plantations (productive but dictatorial) then succumbed to revolt after revolt as every group tried to claw their way to the top with no qualms about brutal oppression. Eventually whites were driven out (leave or face genocide), and dictators came & went along with other abusers. Massive earthquake + overpopulation kinda finished everything off. Small wonder it’s a mess.

So what for Puerto Rico then?
Perhaps only hope is “brutal capitalism”, strong enforcement of property ownership, aggressive law enforcement, and vicious eradication of corruption. Won’t be popular.
Only alternative is abandonment. Burn out the bad.

Interesting proposal. The only problem with it is that Puerto Ricans would then all vote in Florida elections and, with all the Yankee leftists in South Florida, would transform this Greater Florida into Greater Puerto Rico with enclaves of wealthy New Yorkers in tightly zoned and walled communities, sort of like coastal California for the Rich Retired.

Give free parcels and manufactured home loans to Vets that have served honorably. That should help balance out the voter demographic.

Don’t let it go to Castro’s Cuba. Launch a reverse migration to make it solid American to its core.

County of Puerto Rico, State of Florida, home to American Veterans.

We have a Puerto Rico every year thru our legal immigration process that brings in 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants a year, 87% of whom are minorities as classified by the USG. Immigrants and minorities vote more than two to one Dem.

Essentially, we are bringing in hundreds of thousands of future Dem voters every year. Since 1990 we have brought in 35 million legal permanent immigrants, which is the equivalent to the current population of Canada. We are being colonized by the Third World and the Dems are well on their way to becoming the permanent majority party.

In 1978 SNL’s Emily Litella protested against making Puerto Rico a steak.

The PR’s I knew in the Army couldn’t say enough nice things about Cuba; the food, the culture, even Cuban-accented Spanish and Castro’s not that bad, etc. And they were proud to have never voted in a Presidential election.

The Cuban Liberation Army can come occupy P.R. for all I care.
