Another Australian man staying at the Mandalay Bay Resort has spoken about his close call with the Las Vegas gunman - claiming he launched his murderous attack from the room next door.
Australian Brian Hodge, who previously worked at Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast, claimed he was staying in the room next to the shooter on level 32 at the Las Vegas resort.
He said he managed to escape the initial horrific scenes inside the hotel but found himself forced to hide in a bush for several hours after the event.
I got outside safely and was hiding in bushes, Mr Hodge said.
There were multiple people dead and multiple shooters. I was just hiding waiting for police to come get us.
We were hiding in the bushes outside waiting for the police. Mr Hodge said he was staying in room 32134 while the gunman was in room 32135.
It was a machine gun from the room next to me, he said.
My floor is a crime scene. They killed a security guard on my floor.

Thanks. I didn’t realize it was a video.
I’ve heard the following theories on why the second window was broken:
1. To provide a draft to help clear all of the smoke that would be produced in the shooting
2. That otherwise the air pressure from just the one broken window could suck a man right out it
3. To have a better vantage point to shoot at the fuel storage tanks at the airfield
Certainly is odd that the esteemed members of the Fourth Estate have shown so little curiosity in arranging an interview with the security guard Jesus Campos and giving us his first-person account, given that he was the first to confront the shooter and got shot for his trouble.
One of the accounts I read said that when the SWAT team breached Paddock’s room and entered, that the adjoining room was locked from the inside and they had to in turn breach that room to enter it.
If Paddock had to break into the adjoining room of Brian Hodge in order to break the second window, then why would the SWAT team have had to breach the door? Shouldn’t it have already been busted open?
Or maybe Paddock didn’t have to break into Hodge’s room - perhaps someone who worked at Mandalay Bay provided him (or an accomplice) with a master passkey and they simply opened Hodge’s room from the corridor and walked right in. In that case, maybe the doors between the adjoining room and Paddock’s room were never opened at all during the entire shooting event, until SWAT breached the door.
The FBI = GROSS OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE
Evidence destroyed. Perpetrators let go. Distortions.
It is all lies.
FBI = FAKE JUSTICE
Expect nothing to come out of this. Zip. Nada. Nothing.

Synchronized videos of the “matter” . Count the number of rounds.
The ones that were still flashing hours later?
Am I missing anything here?

very convenient of the aussie to put his room service cart outside the door in time for paddock to set up his “go pro” camera on it before the massacre.
What was I supposed to conclude?
That is exactly what we were told first!
That is exactly what we were told first! The cops waited for the SWAT Team to show up but no more shots had been fired.....WEIRD!
Hmm, another observation & question:
In the diagram of the hotel rooms, the suite and the smaller adjoining room were rented by the perp, and both had broken windows.
Why rent both rooms?
How did the Aussie guy get the room number right next to the suite, if the perp had rented both?
If the perp rented only the suite, there’s still the question of how he got into the adjoining room to break the window.
Here's some relatively raw info covering allegedly the entire period of shooting. You'll have to draw your own conclusions for the questions of interest to you.
Security cameras in the hallway will have recorded who entered which room.
“Concert producer Brian Hodge, 36, from NSW, told 9NEWS he ran for his life as he heard about a hundred continuous bullets, after returning to the hotel following dinner with staff members.
Mr Hodge, who has lived in Los Angeles for five years and spent a lot of time in Las Vegas, said the mass shooting has shaken him.”

Could it be possible that *concert producer* Brian Hodge is using this incident to gain publicity? [There should be a blush here that someone would be so crass.] It doesn’t seem his story matches with the facts so far released about the incident - or am I missing something?
Yes, “Brian said multiple SHOOTERS.....but he also said that a security guard was shot dead....not getting ANY of this story of the entire crime!”
TO ALL, was this ‘security guard’ in the article possibly THE SHOOTER or an ACCOMPLICE!!!!
-—>And from an eye-witness further down the article, capitalization is mine:
“WENDY MILLER from Cooroy, on the Sunshine Coast, was also caught up in the attack. She was at a bar in the nearby LUXOR HOTEL with her husband when she saw what she described as a MAN OF INTERST run by.
We managed to make our way back to our room she told The Courier-Mail. We are in lock down. Our door is dead locked and a chair against the door.
Ms Miller said the MAN SPRINTED THROUGH HER HOTEL AFTER COMING OFF AN ESCALATOR from the MANDALAY BAY.”
The man that they [SECURITY] were chasing was WEARING A SECURITY JACKET LIKE THEM. she said.”” ~snip~
The Luxor and Mandalay Bay are nearly connected. You can get to the Luxor quicker than the Mandalay Bay’s parking garage. And I think that Wendy Miller is the 2nd person at The Luxor Hotel to have witnessed the pursuit of ‘the security guard.’
Hmmm.
Mr. Hodge has learned the LA way AKA litigation lottery.
He’s setting the stage for a law suit.
B.S. If someone is shooting outside, you do not go outside. The casino full of security guards was the safest space. No guard died. There was one shooter. Paddock booked that room. If anything, he was in the room next to that room and got the number wrong. Everything else seems B.S. two. That is two false stories from aussies.
if the shooter unloaded “200 rounds” at the security guard, and the police also unloaded into the apartment, why does only one door have bullet holes?
