What a pathetic legacy this man has left.
To be fair, this has been going on long before Obama arrived on the scene. I worked at Veterans Hospital for a few months in the early 70s. Nobody did anything productive unless they were being directly observed by a supervisor. Guys would run lawn mowers parked out of sight of their supervisors direct vision. Just sit there with the lawn mower running, but not mowing. It was almost as if it were a contest to see who could do the least amount of work and get away with it.
We were supposed to rake leaves and haul them to the local city dump. We’d get a load, and take to the dump and then sit at the dump for a half hour or more, just sitting at the dump with all of its smells to avoid work. It was crazy.
