I’m sure the PLA would loan us one if we asked nicely. /s
I have read that Carter gave our neutron bomb program to Israel and they have ~200 such devices out of their ~400 total devices.
Maybe we can buy some from them...
Don’t know what Carter did on that score, but B. Clinton canceled our program, while giving the Chinese the method and means to create one of their own - duly tested twice, proved to work nicely - people (musselmen) dead, buildings fine.
All Trump has to do is whisper to the ChiComms the following:
“If the DPRK fires a missile at the USA — with or without a nuke on top, even if it misses and lands in the desert, Americans will never buy anything Chinese again — because they all know you could have prevented it”
The ChiComms have already admitted that their greatest threat is not finding work for the ~25 million young people who want to enter the work force each year. A recession or depression would cause a revolution that could not be contained.
Trump should also say that if the ChiComms invade the DPRK and make it a new province of the PRC, that will be OK.
I rather doubt lhat. Carter is rabidly anti-Semitic.
However, a dead command structure will disable all that military fuferall
That’s how I see it too.
If we shoot down the next missile over the sea of Japan before it crosses Japan, it will be seen as purely defensive. Fat rocket boy will have no move after that that will not be seen as firing first.
Its in Chinas economic interest to keep a backward, repressive regime governing the north of Korea. Historically, theres no love lost between the ethnic Koreans & the Chinese; also, having an economic powerhouse with a united Korea could more easily entice intellectual resources from Beijing, not to mention them losing a tool in their gamesmanship with the West.
As always, follow the money
