Oh my, lol! No, I was on a rise so about level with them so nothing was going to come down on me or anyone. And too far away with a cheapo bb gun to do much more than annoy them. For once, all six cats came in at bedtime without a fuss.

Out here, we hear shooting every day - snakes, squirrels, snakes, possums, snakes, deer, snakes, skunks, snakes and snakes. The cops would probably laugh at such a call.

One time, the neighbor four houses away called when she saw us coming home to say her grown 30-40 year old son chased a squirrel from their yard to our yard, shot it and left it for us to dispose of. Our daughter had just started the lawn mower and before I could tell her, clunk! It was right at her bedroom window. EXCUSE ME! Do NOT EVER shoot at my child’s bedroom window! And don’t shoot anywhere around my dogs who I am sure were jumping around and barking at the neighbor. That little girl calmly disposed of it and continued mowing. Stupid, stupid man coming to my house chasing a squirrel of all things and leaving it for a little girl to clean up.
