DiFi Admits No Law Would’ve Stopped the Vegas Shooting

There isn’t a magic law you have out there. We have 59 people dead. We have laws against murder. People still get killed in America. Not even laws against murder stop it from happening. What law could you come up with here that would, quote, “prevent guns, especially the most dangerous guns, from falling into the wrong hands”?

RUSH: Well, F. Chuck Todd posed that very question to Senator Feinstein yesterday on Meet the Depressed.

TODD: Give me (pause) the slate of laws that if you could wave your wand and have enacted that could have prevented Vegas.

FEINSTEIN: Well, I don’t know. I would have to take a good look at that and really study it. I’m not sure there is any set of laws that could have prevented it.

RUSH: Well, then, what are you all talking about when you want new gun-control laws, hmm? I told you. I told you. Dianne Feinstein… She’s skating on thin ice with this party on a couple of matters now.

Feinstein does give evidence of a brain once in a while. If Boxer ever did, I sure don’t recall it.

Laws don’t matter to Democrats, as they are all above the law. The only thing that counts to Democrats is raw political power and performing illusions to allow them to exercise power.

He passed every background check.
He broke no law, until he broke multiple laws.

I think this signals the beginning of the end of the "lets exploit the Las Vegas shooting to diminish the Second Amendment" effort.

They'll amp it up after the next mass shooting event.

They're thinking is that each time they do this, they get a little closer to their goal of effectively removing it from the Constitution.

I started that post back in 2012-13 (thereabouts) because I saw too many depressing posts about gun control here. I absolutely believe in eternal vigilance and we shouldn’t let our guard down for a second but I wanted to inject a little positivity on our side.

I always hope some lurking libs see it and realize the hopelessness of their position but I suspect most live in an impenetrable unicorn bubble of delusion.

so DIFI ran right out ahead of the commie pack of wolves
and introduced another gun-control bill (sic!)

but now she admits it can’t help. so this kills her bill and any more like it. at least for awhile
