I don’t think so. They see this as the first step in the demise of the Girl Scouts. These organizations that lost their sense of purpose years ago are now competing for a shrinking base of parents and kids who even give a sh!t about them anymore.

My honest prediction is that the two organizations will merge. Call it just “scouting.” Why not? They are both meaningless now, might as well be meaningless together.
