He was a tank officer. Beyond that, he has little utility that I can see. He is just the moron next door when it comes to setting national policy. He wasn’t smart enough not to get sucked into the emotional orbit of the Saudis.

So am I getting all worked up over this? No. But neither am I happy about it. Maybe it’s like what Obama’s defenders used to say. Maybe Trump is playing 8-dimensional chess, and I just can’t follow.
