I have been an Eagles fan since boyhood. The only game I ever went to was at Franklin Field in 1960. Never made it to the vet. Oh for the days when Frank Rizzo was mayor of Philly. Would have been fun to see his boys take their truncheons to any knee-takers outside the stadium.

Last night I had the honor of watching my son’s high-school football team pep rally. Every one of those kids stood hand on heart - and many of them sang along to the National Anthem. Friday night lights- tomorrow, FAR better than NFL.
