We're all chipping in so families that can afford $600 for a 'family night out' don't have to pay $800 for the night out? In my book the damn 'elites' can pay for the own damn entertainment.

Amen. Pro teams are, for the most part, money machines. To pick the pockets of taxpayers who cant even afford to go to the stadium to watch these teams is a crime.
