looking at the pics within the article and reading the story I don’t believe these two were in a relationship...maybe just a kind man who was friends with a special needs person (killer said the man he shot was his best friend and he was the one who answered the door for the police)- was not hiding or running. I do think (just based on the picture) the killer was possibly autistic or had special needs issues which may explain the medications. Mixing meds and alchohol (per the article) is a recipe for disaster.
