Even yesterday I read a FB post where someone stated "They are persecuting Weinstein while someone who has done worse is in the White House".

It seems to me that Trump had made an observation--albeit crude--about how men in certain positions of power can abuse women any way they want, and Weinstein has emerged as a prime example of Trump's observation.

There is still no evidence that Trump has ever treated women the way he said that the rich and powerful routinely get away with. And merely making the observation does not, in fact, make him worse than those behaving in that manner.

Well said - I agree. I just know it would do no good making that point to some of these lost souls. Sad and true.
