You’re correct that Lopez’s entire act is, “I’m Mexican.” From that stem, “White people think they are better than brown people” and “You owe us”. In addition, an uber-WASPY friend of mine who attended a private event at which Lopez performed told me, “You know, Lopez’s humor seems to be pro-Mexicans, but, at least in smaller settings, it’s clear he is actually contemptuous of Mexicans, thinks he is better than other Mexicans and Mexican-Americans, and is himself desperate to be accepted by rich, white Americans.”
I used to enjoy some of his stuff. Then found out what a leftist twit he is.
So, wrote him off. Same with Conan O’Brien. Of course, all of TBS seems that way. Saw a couple of the cast members of Big Bang Theory of hating on President Trump. On TBS (commercial for it).

I used to like the Bill Dana Mexican, Jose Jimenez.

I even enjoyed Cheech Marin. His character would still be fine, especially since he loved smoking the evil weed.
