The commies HATE the Second Amendment — more exactly they hate WHY the Second Amendment even exists. It is all about them.
we should lobby to bring back firearms training in the public schools
Typical idiotic liberal doesn't know that deer rifles commonly use a five round magazine and hunters don't blaze away with a 30rd magazine in an AK or M16 to hunt with.
He also doesn't know there's hundreds of thousand 'assault rifles' out there courtesy of 0bama.
The democrats are like mosquitoes! They use every chance to introduce new laws which are only an interdiction to the people’s right to own and use guns, not any useful attempt to halt crime.
When dealing with feral hogs, you actually DO sometimes need a big magazine.
Uh...what? We kill, eviscerate, skin, and butcher deer. That's pretty much illegal to do to people, even Congresspeople, even in Chicago. I'd have to check the local laws in St. Louis and Baltimore, though...
And isn’t it peculiar how Harvey Weinstein favors, ahem, sensible gun control, GEE I WONDER WHY?
it is very amusing how some of these same communistic “liberals” (the ones who aren’t vegans) just love to eat wild game meats... like venison, elk, you name it... so much so that even some fairly proletarian groceries in very modest neighborhoods have been adding display cases full of these “fancy” meats..........................and yet they bitch about someone actually going out and getting the meat they crave
But the NRA offered them bump stocks. That was supposed to make the gun grabbers go away.
I can’t believe anyone really belived that nonsense and defended the NRA position. You don’t give the freedom-haters an inch.
This is stupid. They’re basing these laws on feelings and intuition, these masterminds ‘just know’ what the proles need. No data to support these foolish ideas.
Reminds me of the NY SAFE Act, Cuomo ‘just knows’hoe many rounds you should have in your magazine to protect you in a home defense situation. Jackasses, all of them.
"By calling attention to 'a well regulated militia,' the 'security' of the nation, and the right of each citizen 'to keep and bear arms,' our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fears of governmental tyranny which gave rise to the Second Amendment will ever be a major danger to our nation, the Amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason I believe the Second Amendment will always be important."President John F. Kennedy

"Certainly one of the chief guarantees of freedom under any government, no matter how popular and respected, is the right of citizens to keep and bear arms. This is not to say that firearms should not be very carefully used and that definite safety rules of precaution should not be taught and enforced. But the right of citizens to bear arms is just one more guarantee against arbitrary government, one more safeguard against a tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proved to be always possible."
Vice President and Senator Hubert H. Humphrey
Only “common sense”?
What happened to “comprehensive”?
We have NO IDEA what happened, but the Rats know EXACTLY how to fix it!!
Just as I thought they would do. Adding every anti-gun wet dream they have had for the last 60 years to their bill.
“Our law enforcement agencies need to know if anyone is stocking up on AR-15s and AK-47s”
And when they KNOW, what then?
“No sportsman or woman needs 30 rounds to kill a deer”
True.
It’s not about deer hunting
What I’ve read is .44magnum or 30-30 works well on them but their magazines are tubular and in the case of a Ruger .44 magnum a five shot rotary (which I know you know ) - or a 12ga pump. In any case you have to sling lead at them pretty fast. And yep, been to some of those specialty meat stores where they have those meats they so desperately crave to show off at dinners.
