So many anti-people, pro-industrial “Associations” wrap them selves in Patriotic themes and this one seems no different, which accounts for the selection of McCain.
IIRC Hillary was the last award winner, if that tells you anything.

I’m at the point where I really don’t watch ANY “news” because it’s likely to be outright wrong or at best half-true. I was traveling last weekend and captive to airport CNN broadcasts. When a story ran I thought “I wonder what the real story is?”.
If ANY product or service doesn’t work as advertised, I stop using it.
