I don’t see the “sexual harassment” here.
He wanted to be friends with her?
But she ‘REALLY KNEW’ he wanted something more? Are we going to prosecute men now on women’s ESP?
If he did anything at all like his brother did, he should get the same treatment- but in reading this entire article I don’t see it.
I was a VICTIM of a false allegation once. When sexual harassment charges first became all the rage, I had a secretary accuse me of it when I started working at a new company. I had to go to a HR meeting and I said “No, I just told her she was very nice” and that I knew she was single and I wanted to ask her out to dinner.
(I had already found out there was no company policy against dating - back then there WERE such things...)
Then she found out I was interested in dating her and dropped her complaint. Then she told me it was OK if I wanted to ask her out but by then I was too shocked to even think about it... so I sad NO thanks.
SO SHE TRIED TO REINSTATE THE CHARGE against me.
Fortunately saner heads prevailed back then, and they told her no- and that SHE could actually be accused of harassing me now, since she had approached me for a date (which is exactly what she accused me of doing)
So... Here we are now.
A woman THINKS a man “really wants more” than friendship- do we give her a few million bucks?
I was accused because the woman thought I was going to fire her. My boss confronted me and I told him to stick it. A week later he asked me to come back and I told him to stick it deeper.
