From The Hill.com

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) said Tuesday that he and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) have reached a bipartisan deal that would extend payments to insurers under ObamaCare that President Trump said he was ending last week.

The deal would extend the payments to insurers for two years and give states more flexibility to change ObamaCare rules. The negotiations had been aimed at stabilizing insurance markets.

.........When Republicans in the Senate made a last-ditch effort to repeal ObamaCare in September, the Alexander-Murray talks were cut off, with some GOP senators saying their bipartisan efforts would go nowhere in the House.

MA, among the wealthiest states in the country, has been getting special subsidies for their in-state Obamacare for years.

But it is a TN GOPe senator leading the charge in the Senate.

No Republican voted for Obamacare, so how in the Hell are they obligated to save or fix it.

The question is how many will actually vote for it. If it is over 66 he can but then they override.

**************

It will get a lot of support. They’re all on the take.

As Will Rogers said, “we have the best government money can buy”.

Great question. But I think its a foregone conclusion that the Repukes will vote for it. They are just as hypocritical as the Democrats. They say one thing (to get votes) and then do the opposite the money the election is over.

We’re continuously being played. We need a new party.

I don’t see how what it is they are proposing is legal if money bills must be approved by the House of Representatives.

Only 24 (!) comments on this so far?
This Maobamacare bailout sucks, and everyone here knows it. SHAME ON THE PRESIDENT FOR SUPPORTING MURRAY AND ALEXANDER, BOTH SWAMP MARXISTS. Does Trump care about anything more than praise fro the Swamp?
He has done some really good things, but this is a disgusting betrayal.

Doesn’t Trump have the ability to veto this?

The WH says Trump SUPPORTS and applauds this plan. Ugh. Ran on repealing Obamacare, now he's strengthening it.

Levin just stated that Trump has ENSHRINED Maobamacare, and he is absolutely right. Screw this freaking miserable betrayal from the alleged Art of the Deal guy.
But hey, the Wapo will PRAISE HIM NOW. *BARF*

They are no voting to save Obamacare, they are voting to save what is now Trumpcare.

“It’s dead. It’s gone. It’s no longer - you shouldn’t even mention. It’s gone,” Trump said of former Democratic President Barack Obama’s signature 2010 healthcare law.

“This will get us over this intermediate hump” is what he said today endorsing Alexander & Murray’s insurance company bailout.

Thursday he said he was getting rid of the gravy train, today he buckled.
This relieves pressure from the RINOs and democrats—they know he will never veto the crap they send him now.

So it’s just “temporary”, “for one or two years”—long enough for the democrats to regain control.

All you need to know is that Schumer thinks this is great.

This is a major disappointment after pure elation on Thursday. Obamacare is definitely here to stay now. Total reversal of Thursday’s position.

“The WH says Trump SUPPORTS and applauds this plan.”

WHAT? He ran on getting rid of Obamacare! As did every Republican. Now that they have the opportunity to do it....aauugghh.

i don’t believe so- i think it’s congress’ role to issue money to something like this- which is why it was illegal for obama to order federal reserve money for the ACA subsidies when congress refused to fund it- but i’m not sure though
