Hmmmmm. How about regular treatment for minor accidents while intoxicated/medicated? Wasn't hildabeast touting how AWESOME nhs/govthealthcare was just the other day? You know when she was running (yeah, right) down the stairs with a cup of coffee, talking over her shoulder (while running) and fell backwards up the stairs. So, has a positive assessment finally been chosen yet on her injury? Broken toe or twisted cankle. Do they take druggies and alkies for surgery? Oh, duh. Those are diseases. Smoking and being obese are choices. Apparently.

Would they give urgent treatment to, say, a Muslim hater..?
how about a simple critic of unchecked immigration..?
would such a person get emergency surgery..?
I don’t think so.

“non-urgent”
So, smokers and obese folks are being forced to take responsibility for their own “non urgent” poor health - instead of having the suckers in the “insurance” pool pay for it?
The Horror!

And if the definition of “obese” is drawn up for young athletic kids, especially runners, how will powerlifters ever get any surgery?
I knew a boxing instructor at Fort Huachuca that was always considered obese by the weight height chart, but I couldn't see any fat on him at all.
Nope, even now there are parts of “settled science” that are being updated or completely changed.

Big socialist government.
The same ones who demand peon citizens accept others as they are, and make it criminal not to.
Howver you want to rationalize it, big govt can, but you cannot. They will make you accomodate and take extreme ridiculous measures, but they wont.

Sounds like “Medical Blackmail” to me. What about drug addicts, those who practice deviant sexual encounters. alcoholics...etc etc..the list will surely enlarge where ONLY those who refrain from what is socially acceptable behavior will have medical access.

I think we are also heading this way.
We now have to offer all patients treatment for stopping smoking and if they decline or not we have to document it.
It makes the facility a little billable money, but the long game is to take smokers out of the pool.
There is no such education for people who are at risk for HIV.
Or runners who need hip and knee replacements by their mid forties, sometimes two replacement each.
Or soccer playing females who lose their knee use in their early twenties.
Or plumbers and electricians whose backs go out in their late forties.

I wonder if they make homosexual men stop what they’re doing....afterall, they live an extremely highly unhealthy lifestyle, prone to infection, domestic violence, alcoholism and drug use....

How obese?
There is overweight, obese and morbidly obese. All three have different outcomes.

That’s really smart. “Don’t go to the doctor unless you’re healthy,” will cut down on usage substantially.

This is what happens with national healthcare, like the Dems want in this country. It is used by the “elites” and bureaucrats to enforce approved behaviors and punish unapproved behaviors by withholding healthcare.

So can the obese and smokers get a refund of the taxes they've paid into the system since the services are denied them?
Isn't their a certain group which tends to engage in high risk sexual behavior? Will this group be denied care? In fact isn't promiscuous sexual behavior a cause of many health problems? They shouldn't be allowed to get surgery either.
What about alcoholics?
The pubs should have health monitors in them. Anyone caught drinking too much-no healthcare.
And finally- I'm sure that the British people can rest easy knowing that their obese and smoking politicians will probably still be able to get healthcare. The NHS policy likely won't include them, ot they will pass a law to exempt themselves from it.
