I think that it was their way of recording it. I would have wanted it recorded to listen to it again—audio would have been fine rather than video—but I would have wanted to listen again.
Well, what I was thinking, is when the phone (or cellphone) rings, I pick it up, and I’m talking. There’s no record. So, someone else ... probably the cowboy hat Representative ... had to immediately react, whip out her phone, and record her side of the conversation, or maybe both if speakerphone functionality was activated.
The point is, I’m never ready to whip out a phone to record by video someone else’s conversation. But, then again, I’m 70 or so, and may be out of touch.
