At the moment professional football is only mostly dead, but just slightly alive, for now . . . but soon the cart will roll through “bring out your dead” . . . Jerry Jones will hear “the NFL is definitely deceased, gone to meet its maker, pushing up the daisies, an ex sports league” . . . and Dr. McCoy will give the final verdict: “it’s dead, Jim.”
Next year’s new series: The Walking Dead - NFL Edition. It’s a lot less scary than TWD, because kneeling zombies don’t frighten anyone. These former millionaire athletes will have to learn new lines: “Paper or plastic” or “would you like fries with that?”

When I first heard the story about Jerry Jones threatening the players if they did not act respectful while the national anthem played, I suspected it was fake news. This proves it.
