Also he knew it was coming, especially if you herd his last speech.

I think you are right about that.

Yes they have always known.

Several years ago I asked my pastor (74 years old and always well informed and a student of politics and government) about MLK jr. I asked him if he thought MLK was a communist. He did not give me an answer, instead he went into his library a brought me out a two inch thick file with news paper clippings from the 50’s and 60’s full of articles confirming his hedonistic behavior and his communist ties. He also told me in one of his former churches he had a member that was a college professor that had been an FBI agent assigned to MLK. This man told him that MLK’s “file” had plenty of evidence of his communist ties but the largest portion was evidence of his lust for married white women and orgies.

King was running out of steam by 1968. He was getting little press and his rallies were attended by fewer and fewer people. He was depressed, drinking too much, and engaged in extramarital affairs. Young blacks had tired of King's non-violent message and gravitated to the more militant Black Power movements. The "Poor People's Campaign" he was engaged in was alienating middle-class white liberals who had previously supported him with its egregious demands for billions in taxpayer handouts.

And then he went to Memphis.

“My suspicion is that the media has always known about this. They are going to be angry because now everyone will know.”

This info was out there almost contemperaneuosly.I heard about it in rhe early 70’s from federal agents.

His first book striding towards Freedom was mostly plagiarized and large parts of his PhD thesis were plagiarized.

his own legal name was Mike King.

Only his father only legally changed his name to Martin Luther King senior after an inspirational trip to Europe during which time he became smitten with the teaching and activities of Martin Luther, who brought down a then corrupt Catholic Church.

Martin Luther King was only an appelation, not his legal name.

Undeniably charismatic, most of his inspirational speeches were written by a Jewish communist businessman who garnered lots of FBI investigational attention.

No news for those of us who have always known Martian Lucifer to be a sex addicted drunken pervert. But, count on the libs and the mendacious Kink family to defend his “honor.”

Honor. It makes me laugh just to think of it used in connection with King. Haha.

This has no relevance to life in 2017, except as a rebuke to DR3 “conservatives” who can’t give up the fantasy of the “dream”.

Jesse Helms already revealed all of this in the 1983 debate over establishing King Day. Helms’ opposition called the evidence, “garbage,” in the words of I believe one Mr. Moynihan of NY.

The Trump supporter was King’s niece. GA did not have registration by party in the days of King. There were no official “D” or “R” there unless they filed as candidates for office. What Republican did MLK support? I don’t know, maybe Javits in 1962.

It is relevant in that the American people don’t mind being hoodwinked on something they hold dear.

Your theory makes sense. They knew the Kennedy documents may never see the light of day. Good place to hide things.

MLK was friends with a lot of Communists.

I wouldn’t doubt that the Soviets and KGB targeted him to be influenced.

“MLK’s daughter is a Trump supporter”

I know that MLK’s niece, Alveda, was an outspoken supporter of Trump, but didn’t know that about a daughter.

MLK is not around to defend himself. Wasn’t he a registered Republican? I’m not sure I would trust the FBI even back then.

Look I’m not overly enamoured, or at all, of MLK but the simple facts are the democrats would have done anything to hurt him because he was telling Blacks that skin color wasn’t important. And that directly conflicted with the democrats work to divide the nation by race, a game plan they still embrace.
