I HATE this. If we can’t hurt these people back, who ARE WE?

"The fault always lies with whoever initiates violence."

Yep! Not to mention he was on Rand Paul's property when he attacked him.

It’s the MSMLSD bunch who’s at fault.

This is b.s. diversion. A us Senator was physically attacked and federal charges should be filed. I am damn sure that if this were a dem senator and a dem justice department the assaulted would be in a federal jail cell without bond. Why the hell is sessions doing Nothing???

Oh, I can imagine Rand Paul being a nightmare of a neighbor.

I would NOT, however, break five of his ribs.

Exactly. This, and the Scalise shooting would have been a great opportunity for Sessions to stand up and say This Will Not Stand. Those who attack public servants will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This fellow would make a great example “pour encourager les autres”. Put Him Away For 10 Years With No Hope Of Parole.

Absolutely agree. This “individual” attacked Sen. Paul because he HATES TRUMP and he HATES “us”.

For 10 years, I've lived next to a man whose shrubs are so overgrown, it nearly covers the entrance to his house, who mows his grass once every 5 weeks, and blows his clippings out into the street.

Never once have I tackled him and kicked him until his ribs broke. Not one time.

So let me see if I've got this right.

Rand Paul was on his own property and mowing his own lawn when this neighbor decided to run onto his lawn and the NYTimes thinks it's Paul's fault for getting in the way of the guy tackling thin air.

Paul should have eyes in the back of his head so he could have gotten out of the way of this guy barreling up from behind him.

Seriously, no matter what really happen, you do not resolve these kinds of issues with violence.

I used to be on the board of my HOA in Arizona and we sent an offending homeowner a letter, not physically assault them and bust their ribs.

I agree. It’s about politics. What they say, it _isn’t_ about.

1. No one should be working outside with earphones in both ears, rendering them deaf to what is going on around them, especially during our present troubles.

2. Interesting attacker. Should look into what finally sent him over the edge so recently. I'd like to see his on line history and gaming/porn history.

Whoever invented HOA’s should rot in hell.

Rot in Hell? I think he runs the place!

= = =

But hearing protection is prudent, like when lawn mowing.

I agree that this too is a risk.

Yes indeed, many HOAs are legal extortion. About all most do is cut some of the grass along the main streets of the subdivision. And they don’t cut it consistently. Nor do they require homeowners to do so either.

I don’t believe a friggin’ word of this “cover” they’re trying to establish for this crime. I believe the leftist ‘RAT doctor succeeded beyond his wildest dreams of what injuries he could cause Senator Paul. Paul will likely now be absent when a number of CRITICAL votes are taken...where EVERY vote is critical.

These are little things that occur btwen neighbors for years and years. Generally they pile on top of each other as patterns of behaviors. A mountain of little things becomes one big thing.
