They would only cut the troats of their competitors.
Having done business in Saudi, been their countless times, the entire country is corrupt.
Every single “royal” is getting a piece of the action on every deal.
Foreign investors/business in Saudi? If they are there are only there because they bribed the right person.
Not sure the spelling, but “bach-chese”. . .meaning a “gift” under the table.
And any forein business needs to be supported by the right person to make sure the corruption payments get to the right person.
And the business MUST have 51% Saudi ownership. . .so you end up with some Saudi (well connected) on staff but you never see him or does he ever do anything once approvals are granted.
Saudi is the center of the universe when it comes to corruption. Egypt second.
They have been rug merchants for a thousands of years.
This corruption thing is a surprise, not because there’s corruption there, but because of an (apparent) crack-down.
Do you sense that the crack down will ‘hold’ or is there an end game and this is just a step to get there?
Hoping my question makes sense! Thanks
