Excellent! Or

More “stories” about Mitch McConnell later.

This makes me sick. My brother had to get a note from an eye doctor in order to be able to enlist in the Army. I don’t remember the exact situation, but I do remember my parents saying he had to go to a specialist and be cleared to enlist. That was back in ‘64 or ‘65. He was in the infantry, and in Vietnam ‘66 - ‘67. Nobody’s left in my family to ask now. I was 16 or 17 at the time.

From wikipedia:

"McConnell began interning for Senator John Sherman Cooper (R-KY) in 1964, and his time with Cooper inspired him to run for the Senate eventually himself."

I think the underlying ethos: if you aren’t willing to risk your life for your country, why should you have an opportunity to lead it or get paid by it?

FWIW, I desperately tried to join the Army and the Marines, but had an ear infection as a kid that left me partially deaf (however I’d do basic and a tour of any hell-hole they’d send me even at 56 if it meant being able to vote).

I’m good for that but I would want an alternative track for the intelligent and productive person who may have some kind of medical condition.

Those people could do X amount of some kind of non paid state guard or civil equivalent for a longer period then qualify.

Only married men with children, who are married to and living with the mother of their children, should have a vote.

“Bannon said as much today! It’s happening.”

Honestly?!? Mitch needs to be transformed to Bitch, and Bannon’s the one who can make him his bitch..

Listening to Rush for a few minutes today, he was pretty clear about how ruthless McConnell can be — how he’s able to destroy anything and anyone who threatens him. Maybe, as James Carville said, “This is WO-ah!”

“someone named Roy signed it Moore’s last name was added to it.”

And “Moore” was in a different colored ink. Pretty transparent, really. Like those silly excuse notes elementary kids write to their teachers supposedly from their parents.

Draft dodger? Not even close. Supposedly he did go in to the military, but then a superior office walked in on Mitch and a fellow soldier “in flagrante”. And not a female soldier, if you get my drift. Was discharged.

Coolidge was never in the military, and he was the best President of the 20th century.

Jimmy Carter was in the military. Gerald Ford, the great forger on the Warren Commission, was in the military. G.W. Bush, butcher of millions, was in the military.

There is a lot to that story. Seems I read about it several months ago. Some U.S. Senator he knew or was working for helped him on that and covered it up. Mitch is scum and a Hypocrite, his wife is his beard.

He could have had Polio as a child, but if it not a serious case he could have been allowed to join the Army. What happens with people who have had Polio is that later in life they can have problems that can affect the spine and neurons.
So McConnell could have Post Polio Syndrome.

I think OBL was killed at Tora Bora. The Chinese and the Indians thought so at the time and nothing that came from OBL after that was actually attributed to him by the audio experts. The authorities just let the MSM make their own assumptions and did not deny them.
