I’d seriously appreciate some pointers on how to talk to an out-of-control radical who keeps shouting, “Are you threatening my kids??????”
I’d like to say something innocent and infuriating. Ideally, I like to say something normal, which would make him swing at me. I can take it from there, but I don’t know how to provoke on camera without actually using fighting words.

Only the ones you won’t be siring.
For most of them all you would have to say is that Trump is the greatest president this country has ever had. If that doesn’t do it, follow up with the idea that this country truly needs more guns and bibles.
I went to a Sarah Palin rally on Boston Common back in 2008, and I had a leftist getting in my face, literally his face four inches from my face. I told him I wasn’t interested in talking to him, and stepped to the side.
He stepped into my face again and began haranguing me. Again, I said “Look, I am here to listen to Sarah Palin and I am not interested in talking to you.”
I was calm and measured, but was starting to get completely pissed off. I looked over and saw about a dozen people (his “friends”) all recording me.
I was conceal carrying at the time, and I just couldn’t risk losing my temper and popping off on him. Just couldn’t. It is what they all wanted me to do.
This took place for around 15 minutes, and people around me (who I didn’t know) began interjecting themselves and saying “Hey, the guy doesn’t want to talk to you, will you leave him alone?” and he eventually did.
But boy, did I ever want to slug him. I am a bit of a hot-head, so I always have to take that into account.
I’d ask him how did he have kids with a goat.
You calmly say (hopefully, you can keep a straight face for this,) "No, of course not. But it appears that you're guilty of child abuse, if you're raising them to think like you."
