AUSTIN - Texas Democrat Julian Castro confirmed Sunday he is seriously considering running for president in 2020, and former state Sen. Wendy Davis left open the possibility she will take another run at the governor's seat in 2018. "I might," Castro told more than 350 people at a political conference near the University of Texas on Sunday morning. Davis' comments came at the same event.

LA Mayor Eric Garcetti is also talking about running for President in 2020 and he is Hispanic. A mayor of Los Angeles with no accomplishments probably beats a mayor of San Antonio with no accomplishments. At least he would carry his home state in the election.

He is not in Congress. He is the former Mayor of San Antonio, TX, & former Secretary of HUD. He was found guilty of ethics violations during his HUD tenure.

Julian Castro is not a democrat.
