And what if the players wish to display their respect for the flag and country? Still not good enough. My boycott will continue.

I would vote they stay in the locker room until the post-game show. It will have the same effect on my (non) watching habits.

I don’t particularly miss watching the NFL.

When a few teams tried this before I said they were hiding under their beds. That’s how most folks will see it. Hard to believe anyone thinks that’s a good solution.

There’s no way to stuff the genie back into the bottle.
They killed the goose that laid the golden egg.
Liberals destroy everything they touch...everything, including the NFL.
IF it weren’t for the ball, most of these thugs would be doing time on a chain gang somewhere.
America got the message....the NFL didn’t.
The American-hating NFL is not a dire necessity, it’s a weekend entertainment that most of us can easily do without and save a lot of money doing so.

The US Military is PAYING the NFL Millions to be on the sidelines for the Anthem.... as part of its recruiting marketing budget.

These folks are cowards and frankly ignorant. They literally are living up to the very racist stereotype they claim to be sick of, that being one of the stupid ........

That’s how it used to be. Anthem before teams came out. Back to the future.

I actually don’t mind this option. Leave the brain-dead players in the locker room like the unruly, spoiled children that they are, and allow the fans to stand together without that retarded distraction. It’s far better than what the left would truly prefer, which is abolishing the anthem entirely.

The NFL is still disrespecting our flag by staying in the locker room.

It’s okay because 3 years from now all the NFL contracts will be restructured because of less money in the NFL. Six, nine and twelve years from now it will happen again. Between 15 to 20 years from now you will be officially gone.

I was a longtime fan of the NFL but no longer. Thankgoodness I have my Sunday’s back.

I am even mad at the so called “patriots” in the NFL for not standing up for the flag when Goodale was destroying the NFL. Sorry you guys are cowardly about this.

This year for Thanksgiving football. When the TV is on it will be all traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas shows and movies. No more football on the TV..... Anyhow, we were never really watching the games. It was just noise in the background while everyone else was talking to each other.

Last year they wouldn’t even acknowledge the boycott. Now they want to hide from it...and their own national anthem.

As I understand it, it is the NFL’s current policy that players stand for the national anthem. So let’s say next year it becomes NFL policy that teams remain in the tunnel during the national anthem. Well, what if players decide that they - again - won’t abide by their employer’s policy and go out of the tunnel and kneel?

I mean the issue isn’t what the current policy is, the problem is that the NFL has refused to require its employees to abide by its corporate policy. So what’s the purpose of another corporate policy that can be defied with impunity?

Man, it really is hard to fathom how obtuse these people are.

Some NFL owners are considering a change to the league's national anthem policy that would possibly keep players in the locker room when the Star-Spangled Banner is played before football games, according to The Washington Post.

Tomorrow the television will be OFF. No NFL.
Well done, morons. Of course, I have not watched a single game all year. No, they don't care that 1 TV has stopped. But they forget that 1 TV X millions is their reality.

My theory is that they’ll only see the true consequences next year, when the number of season ticket holders plummets. The boycott became an issue this year only after the start of the season when the tickets had already been bought. Some of them were burned, others sold at a discount which enabled others to attend...but what happens when the original season ticket purchasers don’t buy at full price?

It’s next year they’ll really feel the pain.
