Leaving it open-ended, as in "Moore was doing it well into his 30s," does Moore a disservice.
More precisely, since Moore was in the army until 1974, and then went directly into law school and graduated in 1977, it would be fair to say that he only had the opportunity to "do it" during the period of 1977 until he met his wife at Christmastime in 1984. They married a year later.
Looking at the dates of the allegations, the earliest is from Beverly Young Nelson, who claimed Moore assaulted her "just days after Moore signed her yearbook on Dec. 22, 1977." We now highly suspect that the yearbook signature was forged, so we have to toss out this date.
The next allegation was from Leigh Corfut, who claimed that Moore touched her when she was 14 in early 1979. This would then bracket the period of Moore "doing it" to be from 1979 to 1984, or only a six year period.
I would conclude that it's more fair to say that Moore was "doing it" for only a six year period (from age 32 to 37), rather than saying that "Moore was doing it well into his 30s." The latter makes it sound like he's been doing it all his adult life.

I was watching the TV in the waiting room at the car repair place and they were showing video of one of the acusers, crying as she told her story. Then they did a “zimmerman/martin”.
That is, they showed a picture of her as a 14 year old, and next to it, a picture of Moore TODAY. Definitely gave the impression of a dirty old man going after young girls.
I really despise that kind of reporting.
