Our little girl, 8 last year had a kid bothering her..she’d mention the name a few times and was obviously bothered by it. He took money from her one time and after a couple escalated threats of hitting him....she did, gave him a good nosebleed. Of course the bullying thing came up against OUR kid but was quickly dismissed by the principal and their “investigation”, as they saw no case.
Funny too this year they’re not really great friends but she told me “Oh, he’s ok now, we play sometimes”.
The best life long friends are those who gave each other a few good a$$ whipping in the grade school years. It helps to establish boundaries and limits without adult interference.
