The Dongfeng-41 will be capable of hypersonic speeds up to Mach 25 and has been in development for more than 30 years.

Chinese scientists have tested the weapon eight times since 2012 – and carried out their most recent tests deep in the desert earlier this month.

State media reports the missile is due to enter the arsenal of the People’s Liberation Army in early 2018.

Carrying 10 nuclear warheads, the weapon is believed to be 33 tons and approximately 15 metres long.

China’s state-owned newspaper The Global Times claims the weapon will be able to strike “anywhere in the world”.

Nobody is going to nuke anybody.

That’s the point of everybody having them.

You are thinking of the MAD (mutually assured destruction) protocol.
Muzzies do not play by those rules — they don’t mind to self-destruct. In fact, they enjoy it.

Considering the latest pictures of China’s cities, I don’t think they want a war with anyone. They are not looking to turn their cities into Hiroshimas. When was China an aggressor nation? All if not most their wars were within their own borders. (500K volunteers to help in Korea was to help them keep the UN out and regain north of the 38th.) China is moving fast to become the worlds #1 power. They are a busy bunch of workers, maybe some other countries should catch on? Naaaah.

Yep. The missile should have a WalMart sponsor sticker on it.

I suspect the 9000 mile range is actually 12500 miles. That is because once you are in orbit every point on earth is in range and 12500 miles is the distance to the other side of the Earth from any launch point.
