It’s a good question. That rag is just stupid leftist propaganda these days. It’s pathetic.

The Compost has as much credibility as Tokyo Rose, and rather less sincerity, charm and integrity. It was clear, to anyone paying attention, that the Roy Moore piece was a smear job orchestrated in collusion with Mitch McConnell.

And I may be wrong, but the think the credit for naming the “Compost” belongs to Mark Levin.

“Taking it seriously” and believing it are two different things. It still has huge influence, whether we like it or not.

"Why Do Some Freepers Take the Washington Post Seriously?"

Mostly because they are left-over trolls who came aboard during the years after the 2000 election.

Rush Limbaugh going into hystrionics...

Rush has become so emotionally charged of late, I can hardly listen to him. I half expect him to blow a blood vessel any day. The stress in his voice imparts a sense pf tension that's exhausting.

And then there's the rambling off into topics that are of secondary, or of no interest to the vast majority of his listeners. I think he's finally losing his mojo.

Sometimes his schtick(sp?) smacks a little of “the lady doth protest too much, methinks”. I don’t know if he realizes it, but when you go to such lengths to explain something that’s patently false, it kind of makes you think otherwise. Kind of like a kid who goes too far explaining how he’s not the one responsible for the cat ending up in the dryer.

From the my earliest time here FR has been infected with rinos and country club republicans.

They are aging out and passing on and for those left it’s the republican party first and foremost.
