That you wouldn’t worship at a church that maintains vigilance for the safety of its members shows you have no mindset for church security in the reality of the world we live in today. Fact is that if the church in TX had simply locked their doors, the mortality rate would not have been as high. Hoping for the best and planning for the worst is part of the sense God gave us. That bit where Jesus says to be gentle as doves and wise as serpents is something you should look into, guy. Or you can continue to be Harmless and be harmed.
Seen all the truck / SUV attacks going on? A SUV is easy to get and would go through locked church door easily. As I said, it is not a bank vault.
