"Matt Lauer, the disgraced former anchor of NBC's "Today" show who was fired Wednesday for inappropriate sexual behavior, once summoned a married female employee to his office, locked the door and sexually assaulted her until she passed out, "
And her husband did nothing, she never went home and told him? She never told her parents? Her dad ignored it?
No let's face it folks, if this had happened she would have told her husband and he would have either shot or beat the tar out of Lauer.
But her rant is good for 20k or more.
“And her husband did nothing, she never went home and told him? ... if this had happened she would have told her husband...”
It’s common for women to not tell their husbands, or anyone except close friends, about rape. Husbands often blame their wives. Sometimes the marriage suffers forever after. She is often victimized a second time by others because they don’t believe her — a little like what’s going on in some posts here. Sometimes the women weigh their options and decide it’s just not worth it to tell.
The husband was interviewed & said he remembered it, see OP excerpt
[And her husband did nothing, she never went home and told him? She never told her parents? Her dad ignored it?]
If my wife/girlfriend ever came to me and told me someone did this to her, the perp would be getting a 12 gauge enema!
“”The paper said it contacted her ex-husband who said he remembered the alleged encounter””
She apparently did tell him....
A woman would not necessarily tell her husband
So are you saying you don’t believe the allegations and that you think NBC was in error to fire Lauer?
Husband didn’t do anything-——— New York men must not be like they used to be. Just sayin’.
And her husband did nothing, she never went home and told him? She never told her parents? Her dad ignored it?

And she did not leave the company until a year later. Uh-huh, I am going to stay at a place where I would have to see on a daily basis the man who raped me.
She did tell her husband.
