The news said, and I think the attorney for the defense argued with words to the effect that the incident was used by Trump to stir up hatred (specifically used that word) for illegal immigrants and to gather support to deport them.
Maddening, so sorry for her family that has been through so much.

I have said before, President Trump should direct all federal agencies to avoid meetings and new business or travel to California. Obama more-or-less did same to Vegas.
