Some people lean toward defense. I have always leaned toward prosecutorial side. This leaning is part of what gets people on the bandwagon of calling me a liberal troll.
Has he crossed the line as Prosecutor. More than likely. Taking down a mob boss is tough business and requires tough tactics.
but he is not alone in tough tactics. It’s how you get people to flip. I have heard some stories from friends...

All I believe is that it is a real POSSIBILITY but it is fact specific.

I still maintain this is a nothing burger because all it is is revealing the details of why he was fired. Or really, what he neglected to tell the team about his contact with the Russians.
I suppose it all hinges on whether or not Trump (or Pence I guess) has ever claimed they never told him to contact the Russians even during the transition.
I could be wrong but I don’t think Trump, Pence, or anyone ever claimed that. And indeed what kind of sense would that make? To never tell your prospective NSA to contact the Russians during the transition? Why wouldn’t they have done so, especially given that big vote coming up in the UN re Israel?
Again it really all comes down to what they said about this whole mess before. I’m pretty sure they have only said that they never had any contact with the Russians during the campaign. Not during the transition.
If they said they never had contact with the Russians during the transition too, there might still be a problem. But then I’d return to the point I made on another thread: Flynn is a known liar now so his testimony needs corroboration.
