Expensive strawberries, especially with the poo.

Especially after you factor in all the costs associated with the medical care required for the Hep A outbreaks. Had an otherwise healthy relative spend 3 days in the hospital due to Hep A which was traced back to likely fecal contaminated strawberries.

Mangoes for me. Three weeks in the hospital and a few feet of plumbing had to be cut out, along with an appendix and then peritonitis. The operating doctor told me to always wash the fruit very well and to only eat a little bit. Then wait a few hours to see how you react. If infected with e-coli or such, you feel sick pretty quick.
