It’s an endless series of votes on meaningless amendments trying to delay though passage at this point now seems inevitable ... and Pence is supposedly on the way!
By my count it’s 51 with Corker voting no on final vote to send to conference.

You’ve proven that you are ignorant about the US tax system. There is a 0% tax bracket NOW. It will be LARGER with the new bill.
0 to $45K is in the 12% bracket under the Senate plan. If you mean the first “X” dollars are not taxed because of deductions etc. and want to call that a bracket then go for it. But it is not.
Every accountant that I have known has referred to people who pay zero tax as being in the “zero tax bracket”. It is and has been standard language and an accurate portrayal of the situation for a reason. That, of course, doesn’t accurately describe the people that GET MONEY BACK THAT THEY NEVER PAID IN...which happens too. And, unfortunately, will still happen.
