Michael Savage said today that Trump should federalize the National Guard and take over the city of San Francisco for violating the law.

The name and the personal residence of every person on that jury should be in the public record. They should have to live with what they’ve done.

Actually the shooter claims that HE didn’t fire the gun at all. This would have left him vulnerable to a conviction on involuntary manslaughter charges. He says that the gun just went off by itself. This is probably why he changed his story from shooting at the seals which would have meant that he actually pulled the trigger. The whole trial is a travesty of justice.

Judge and lawyers, too

San Francisco should have the courage of their convictions and just let this guy go.

That is their policy. They should have to live with it.

If we deport this guy, he’ll be back before the weekend.

If you ask me, the jury let him off because they wanted to stick a thumb in Trump’s eye.

The politics of it is far more important than Kate Steinle.

What I read was that he was “playing” around with the gun and it went off. Supposedly the round ricochet before hitting the woman in the chest area. Involuntary manslaughter would have been the correct verdict.

Is that what they charged him with?

For the Rats, its all about retaining the hispanic votes and for the Chamber of Commerce RINOs, its about not wanting to scare off the cheap labor.

Sure. Socialism and keeping the Obama legacy alive. Eight years of Obama and we were one coffin nail away from burying the USA, but ALAS, Hillary lost and the progressives have no intention of giving up.

Now watch California cut this guy loose and put him on a plane to Mexico just to spite the President.

"Corrected" to ONE time. Maybe there were 3 rounds unaccounted for (from a fully loaded magazine)?

Stunning. I just heard on Fox that California law states that every one day a person spends incarcerated, they get a credit for two. WTF?

While I normally hate the idea of so many federal laws that can be held over a person, the utter failure of California’s justice system means I can make an exception.
If a white guy had shot her with the same story, he’d be on their death row. But liberals gush with sympathy for the poor widdle illegal immigrant, he doesn’t know better, its our fault he cannot stay in his country, he didn’t intend to kill her despite his criminal record, oh, have pity on the poor victim ... the murderer.

No the jury had three options from 1st degree down to manslaughter - so they had the option of involuntary manslaughter. Even if it was not on purpose (the defense) the reckless handling of a fire arm in a crowded public place should have gotten him manslaughter.

As other have pointed out, I suspect the fix was in and the prosecution may not have been as strong as it could have been.

I do not know one way or another but it is strange such an open and shut case (video and confession) would lead to a not guilty verdict

He fired the weapon 3 times

The trigger jammed on full auto. That is why assault weapons should be banned /s/

I’ve been racking my old prosecutor’s brain and the only possible way that this acquittal happened was either if the prosecution willfully “threw the case” - which I don’t believe - or, most likely, if the jury was sending a political “message” via de facto jury nullification.

Firing a gun in the direction of a crowd (if done without intent to kill or wound someone), and killing someone, is basically a de facto AND a de jure textbook example of criminally negligent manslaughter.

I mean a jury with the IQ of a potato would understand that. So there had to be a political angle to the verdict.

Outrageous and disgusting.
