Ross’s breathless morning report that Mike Flynn was ready to testify that then-candidate Donald Trump had instructed him to collude with the Russians to try to impact the election threw the entirety of the fake news media and social media into a tizzy, with liberals at every media outlet excitedly predicting that this was the “beginning of the end” for President Trump.
There was just one problem, though: the story was, as Ross’s stories so often turn out to be, completely false. But ABC let it hang out there all day long, negatively impacting the 401K accounts of millions of Americans by tanking the stock market, before finally forcing Ross to correct his fake story on the network’s nightly newscast.

Yeah, couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. But somehow, he just keeps his job, and will go on filing more false reports in the future. These people have no shame or ethics at all.

I can’t disagree and that’s all fine & good.
But what really needs to happen, is these POS need to have SEC charges filed against them. They need to be sued into bankruptcy and out of business.
In this particular case, millions of people were affected and billions of dollars lost.
They need to be held legally accountable for their incompetent actions.
Actually, they are punished, by the public. CNN, for example, has the worst ratings of the news networks. This means lower advertising revenue and, generally, lower pay. Credibility is the currency of the news media. When they lose it, as they have here, that loss is recorded as an income dip. It will take a long time, but eventually, only people who want to be fooled, say, the percentage of the population that are liberals, will tune in or read their propaganda.
Their days are numbered. It has been my sincere belief for the last couple of years that the MSM, as we know it, will be gone by the early ‘20s.
Then what will we have to be pissed about?
Oh, plenty still.
There are no consequences for the bad acts and sloppy writing of the media.
This crap is nothing new. It was far worse during the civil war.
After over 600,000 killed, it all settled down and mostly stopped.
You punish them commercially by turning them off. Victims of their falsehoods ought to sue. No further laws are needed. Remember, any law passed could eventually be used in a twisted way by ‘Rats returned to power. The right needs to learn to think ahead and not build weapons for the ‘Rats to take up against them.

They are the elite (or have set themselves up to be) of our society. They need have no shame or ethics. The Soviets and Nazis had their elite, now the modern western world has leftists/libs or whatever you want to call them. It’s how life works. You’ll never rid the planet of scum like this.
